A Virtual School Fair To Combat Confusion and Connect Families to Schools that Are Fit

On Saturday, January 22, 2022, a virtual event showcasing school options across the state will give Idaho families the chance to understand their K-12 educational offerings.

The virtual event will also encapsulate innovative ideas throughout Idaho, giving families the opportunity to take part in private discussions with specific schools they know or have questions.

In conjunction with the National School Choice Week, large school fairs will take place in well over a dozen major cities, including Las Vegas, Colorado Springs, and Jersey City.

"We believe that parents should have the ability to determine which learning environment best fits their family's needs," said China Gum, one of the main events. "We believe that our virtual event is to empower parents to know and navigate those choices.

The Coalition of Idaho Charter School Families is a nonprofit organization that seeks to serve as the national leader in providing educational excellence and innovation. This is because to the creation of public charter schools that ensure that all students have the opportunity to develop skills and abilities to achieve their dreams.

The National School Choice Week shines a spotlight on effective K-12 educational choices for children, focusing equally on traditional public, charter, magnet, online, private, and home education options. Each January, participants plan tens of thousands of events such as school fairs and open houses to increase awareness about school choice across all 50 states.
