On Friday, the Northwest girls basketball team beat Coldwater 42-35.

Ashley Weller scored 17 points for the Mounties, while Olivia Lamb added nine and Teja Kapp added eight.

Coldwater rallied 10-2 in the fourth quarter, allowing the Mounties to win by throwing free throws.

The Trojans lost to Bronson in a back-and-forth game, including Bronson 50 and Homer 46.

Homer came within three minutes of halftime and led 35-33 after three quarters, but Bronson thrashed in the fourth.
