Thursday, the coach stated that he should return to the lineup either Saturday at Washington or Monday at Orlando.

McCollum, who had a collapsed lung on December 4, is listed as out for Saturday's game in the latest team-issued injury report.

Shams Charania of The Athletic has been very well-received on Friday.

McCollum's return will add a jolt to the team's offense as well as Anfernee Simons returning to the team after missing Thursday's loss at Denver for personal reasons.

Bradley Beal will not be available at the Wizards, who have been one of the NBA's surprise teams this season.

Washington will not be coached by NBA assistant Pat Delany.

The Wizards have won three consecutive games to bring them back to a new high of.500 and into the Eastern Conference.

Kyle Kuzma, acquired in the trade that sent Russell Westbrook to the Lakers, is second on the team ahead of Beal in scoring. Kuzma is averaging 15.7 points and 8.7 assists.
