Following fresh 5G launches, the FAA is required to take additional precautions for certain Boeing 787 landings

WASHINGTON, January 14 (Reuters) - The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced Friday that its operators of Boeing 787s should follow additional precautions when landing on wet or snowy runways at airports where new wireless service will be deployed starting next week.

The FAA said 5G interference would hinder engine and braking systems from switching to landing mode, which would hinder an aircraft from stopping on the runway.
