Miles Sanders and Josh Sweat share their injury statistics from the Eagles and their coaches

The Buccaneers will have their top four running backs available for Sunday's tournament.

Sanders said he will play against the Buccaneers, despite missing the past two games. Sanders said he has undergone surgery throughout the week and felt comfortable playing this weekend.

With Sanders ready to roll, he may be used in a rotation with Boston Scott and Jordan Howard. Scott and Howard have held down the fort, and now the entire trio will be able to move in and out of the lineup together. Their availability could allow rookie Kenny Gainwell to see more wide receiver snaps. The Eagles only have four active wideouts, so Gainwell may receive playing time in the slot.

According to the head coach, a defensive end (illness, non-COVID related) will be listed as questionable in the playoff opener.

If Sweat isn't able to play, the Eagles will be adamant on starter-level talent at the defensive end. Derek Barnett and Ryan Kerrigan will probably start, while Tarron Jackson and practice-squad defensive tackle Cameron Malveaux will also start the rotation.

UPDATE (2:55 p.m ET): If Herbig can't play, he would probably be replaced by Sua Opeta or Jack Anderson in the lineup.

Richard Rodgers, a tight end, is expected to be removed from the practice squad this weekend, according to Sirianni.

On Saturday, the Eagles have until 4:30 p.m. to remove the practice squad.
