Key Alabama's LB has decided against the draft and is returning for the senior season

Alabama gained a huge boost on Friday as a player returned to school, bucking the trend with the transfer portal and the NFL draft.

Henry To'o To'o, who is expected to be as high as a first-round pick, will instead return to field his senior year.

More Alabama football:

To'o To'o led the Crimson Tide in tackles this fall by 112. That included 8.5 tackles, four of which were sacks, and a one fumble in one season with Alabama.

To'o To'o, an athletic middle linebacker with sideline to sideline speed, has been selected as the defense's signal caller. Christian Harris finished his junior season against Georgia.

Alabama already backs outside linebackers Will Anderson and Dallas Turner. Jaylen Moody, a senior reserve middle linebacker, has put his name in the transfer portal Thursday, a move that foreshadowed the To'o To'o announcement on Friday.

Alabama's offseason starts with a break.
