Three hospice patients who died in Jefferson County in recent weeks have been sought by a family

Authorities believe they have identified family members for Charlotte Brown and Michael Piper.

EARLIER: Authorities are urging the public to provide assistance in the search of family members of two women and a man who has died in Jefferson County.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified them as: Charlotte D. Brown, 67, Jimmie W. McDonald, 87, and Michael Eugene Piper, 68. All three were hospice patients and died of natural causes.

Brown was a tenant at the Legacy Health and Rehabilitation of Pleasant Grove, a neighborhood in West Chester. She was a patient at Southern Care Hospice.

In 2018, Brown served in the Sixth Circuit in Wylam.

McDonald was a tenant at Pleasant Grove Legacy Health and Rehabilitation and was a patient of Comfort Care Hospice.

Authorities said McDonald lived Ninth Street in Pleasant Grove in 2016.

Piper was a tenant at Eastview Health Center in east Birmingham on December 25.

In 2011, Piper lived on Martinwood Lane in the Huffman community and could have a family living in Alabaster.
