LG Dropped A Video Of A Next-Generation Smartphone Velvet
A video has been released on YouTube, showing the design of a new generation LG smartphone called Velvet. The official presentation of this device will take place next month.
One of the features of the named device will be the rear camera Raindrop consisting of three optical modules and a flash, which are lined up vertically.
The 3D Art Design concept assumes that the screen and back panel bend symmetrically to the sides of the case. This, it is claimed, creates a "smooth form factor that is both pleasing to the eye and pleasant to the touch."
The video shows that there are physical control buttons located on the sides of the case of the new product. At the bottom is asymmetrical USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone Jack. The front camera is mounted in a small cutout at the top of the display.
It is said that the smartphone will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor. The possibility of working in 5g mobile networks was mentioned.
The announcement of LG Velvet is expected on May 15. The new product will be shipped with the Android 10 operating system.
