Biden came to speak on January 6th anniversary of the U.S. Capitol attack-White House ...

The White House said Wednesday that President Biden will make a public statement on the Jan. 6 anniversary of the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol in Washington by his predecessor, Donald.

"I think it's safe to say that the Americans will hear from him on that day," said the White House press secretary, Jen Psaki, at a news briefing.

She said that the details haven't been definitively finalized.

Four people died during the riot. The next day, the second day, one Capitol policeman died of injuries sustained while defending Congress. Hundreds of police were injured during the multi-hour onslaught by Trump supporters and four police officers have taken their own lives.

Former Republican President Donald Trump was accused of cheating the rioters who marched to the Capitol after hearing him speak outside the White House. President Donald Trump told the crowd that he wouldn't let the election get accepted, and urged them to go to the Capitol, where lawmakers were preparing to affirm his victory.

Over 700 people were arrested in the Capitol attack. A congressional committee is investigating the attack, including Trump's action and efforts to overturn the election results.

Trump said on Tuesday that he planned to hold a news conference on Jan 6. Afterwards, he was going to discuss the events of that day.
