Spain joins the Premier League on daily basis to test vaccinated players ...

Dec 22 - Spain's top two divisions are bringing in daily COVID-19 test of all players in order to respond to the increase in positive cases.

This move shows that in regards to mass testing, players are increasingly under constant pressure.

In a new protocol dated Wednesday, the players said that 95% of their players are fully vaccinated or have immunity, but new measures must be taken.

A long time ago the state of Nebraska has declared "a massive increase in Omicron" and a minimum protocol, with several obligations and recommendations that are necessary to stop the spread of the virus."

The only way to test for all the players and staff at a club is to enter their existing facility.

When players return from a period of three days or more, as well as their return from national team duty. The home team will have to test in the morning and the exit team will depart for the game.

Tests are also required every 10 days at close contact of players.

Spain's approach is similar in scale to that of the Premier League, which last week took a minimum of 12 345 tests on players and staff, found 90 new positive cases.

The Premier League is administered daily antigen tests and weekly PCR tests, regardless of the vaccine status.

The mass test of fully vaccinated players is contrasted to the strategy by the Italian Serie A, France's Ligue 1 and the German Bundesliga.

Serie A has reported that 98% of its players are double vaccinated and don't have league mandated testing for them.

Most Italian doctors do not allow nonvaccinated players to test their own behaviour. Nevertheless, unvaccinated players can test at once with the tests.

Whenever a game is taking place in France, a doctor who identifies that not all players in the team are showing COVID-19 symptoms and have either become fully vaccinated or have presented a negative PCR test within three days of the match. In practice, unvaccinated players don't need to perform tests before the match.

In the Bundesliga, all teams must know the league of all players, whether they are vaccinated or recovered from the virus. Fully vaccinated people do not have to undergo continued tests.

Any unvaccinated player or staff must perform two PCR tests weekly, of which one is 48 hours before any match, or perform an antigen test on training days or on match days. All players who have recovered from COVID don't have to.

Germany's measures are compared regionally as they are common in the federal system.

Last week, the NFL in the United States switched from a weekly test to a single-handed testing of an asymptomatic players. This course will be based on an eye-to-eye program.

NFL players who aren't fully vaccined will continue to receive daily tests.
