Dec. 22 - The main market index slipped on Wednesday, with concerns lingered about the Omicron variant of the coronavirus and its impact on the global economy.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 0.99 points, or 0.00%, at the open to 35 491,711.

The S&P 500 opened up by 1.13 points, or 0.02%, at 4,650.36, while the Nasdaq Composite closed the door for 15,319.16.
