Police continue to look for suspect after man seriously injured after the shooting at the Owosso bar ...

OWOSSO, MI -- A 40-year-old man has been seriously injured after being shot twice over the weekend in a local bar.

Police were responding to the shooting around 30 o'clock, Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Rainbow Bar, 905 Main Street, in the city, said Kevin Lenkart, Owosso's director of public safety.

The boy, 40, had suffered a shot from the leg and a gunshot wound to the lower back, said Lenkart.

The victim was present for the Wednesday 22nd.

The preliminary investigation found a verbal altercation between the victims and the suspect in the incident, and said it was a lie within the bar at the time of the shooting, Lenkart said.

Police are still searching the suspect.

The shooting is still being investigated.
