Alabama mother searches for angel in a pickup truck who saved choking son ...

As the boy wandered home from church, an Alabama woman says she pulled over to rescue her son.

Candace Pimentel is now searching for the man, to thank him for stopping to assist strangers on a dark Alabama highway.

"My sweet boy Raylen choked on a hard candy tonight, on our way home from a church activity, my sweet boy Raylen choked on a hard candy," Pimentel said on Facebook Dec. 1 of Facebook.

"Between pulling off the road, attempts to delodge the object, yelling for my other son to call 911, flagging people down, my heart was breaking," Heavenly Father sent me an angel in a pickup truck, and he assisted save my baby."

She stated that the man stepped on to perform the Heimlich maneuver, then drove away.

Pimentel, who lives in Gardendale, was in a state of panic at the time, and she is now trying to locate the man to thank him for saving her 9-year-old.

He said he was just coming from church himself, she told the station. He turned to me and he gave me a big hug.

Pimentel says she will be "grateful for that unwanted and Heavenly Father sending him."

She described Raylen as "Raylen is alive, and my heart is full of emotions."

And yes, hard candy, he replied.
