A Fire Started Due To A Lightning Strike On A Fuel Tank In Spain
Lightning struck a tank with diesel fuel on the territory of a petrochemical complex in Spain on Monday, resulting in a fire, according to the Twitter account belonging to the emergency service of the Autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha.
"This morning, lightning struck a tank with diesel fuel on the territory of the petrochemical complex in Puertollano," the publication says. "A cloud of smoke is visible throughout the locality." The Department clarified that no one was injured in the incident. Firefighters are working on the site.
According to local media, the reservoir belonged to the Spanish oil and gas company Repsol.
