According to Andrey Boginsky, CEO of Russian helicopters, the company started development work on upgrading the Ka-52 helicopter taking into account its experience in combat use on behalf of the Russian Defense Minister last year. "The ka-52M's missile armament is unified with that of another newest helicopter, the Mi-28NM, which has significantly increased the target range," Boginsky said.
Flight tests of the Ka-52M will be conducted by specialists of the developer (JSC " NCV " And Kamov") together with specialists of AAK "Progress." Some of the stages will take place on the territory of the manufacturer, and then the machines will be handed over to the developer.
