Each week, a rookie quarterback anticipates the new type of challenges an opponent brings, especially after four weeks of being taken from a PCL fracture.

The No. 2 overall draft pick said he feels it's a long season and continues to focus on the areas he can improve.

No one expects it to be perfect, being in this position, you're hard on myself. Of course, I get frustrated at times, but I understand it's all part of the process of where we're trying to obtain, Wilson stated. I just got to keep taking it one day at a time and really one play at a time.

Wilson spent time watching film of other quarterbacks who have had successful against their defense in preparation for the event.

I'll watch what they did, things they did well. Tom Brady was one I saw that played against them and I thought it was really exciting to see how he went through his entire process, how he navigated the pocket, and so on, Wilson said. Aaron (Rodgers) is another one that we watch a lot of the time too. Here's what these guys are doing in the same type of offense and what things stand out to me, what things they consistently do each and every play

Wilson had to tackle the issue in last week's 24-17 win over the Texans after spending the last month sidelined. After completing the game, he settled in and finished with 145 yards passing, a rushing touchdown, and an interception.

What I loved was he settled down, he settled in, our offense settled in, and he made better decisions to put our offense in the greatest chance to win a football game, and thats what we did, Jets offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said.

Is there room for improvement for myself, him, the rest of the offense? Absolutely, no doubt about it. Again, for a guy who's been out for a month to really settle in like he did, and there's stuff that the naked eye wouldn't see in terms of pre-snap, getting us aligned right... Thats something that he had way more comfort in last week than he did in those first five or six weeks. It was exciting to see that and continued improvement,
