Indian Prime Minister Expressed His Condolences concerning The Air India Express Flight AXB IX 1344 Crash In Kozhikode
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences for the loss of life in the plane crash in Kozhikode.
"I feel pain because of the plane crash in Kozhikode. My thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones. Let the injured recover as soon as possible. Discussed the situation with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Representatives of the authorities are on the spot and provide all necessary assistance to the victims," the Prime Minister wrote on his Twitter page.
As reported by the News channel, at least 15 people died, and dozens more were injured as a result of a hard landing of an Air India Express plane in Kozhikode (Kerala) on Friday. According to the TV channel, there were 174 passengers, two pilots, and five other crew members onboard the airliner.
The airliner was flying from Dubai (UAE) to Kozhikode, the flight was performed as part of a program to return Indian citizens from abroad during the pandemic. The plane landed during a downpour.
