Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos this week sold shares of this American Corporation for more than $3.1 billion, according to CNBC with reference to notifications sent to the US securities and exchange Commission.
According to these documents, Bezos sold more than $4.1 billion worth of Amazon securities earlier this year. Taking into account this week, the wealthiest person on Earth has made more than $7.2 billion in stock sales and owns another 54 million shares of the Corporation worth more than $170 billion.
In 2019, Bezos sold $2.8 billion worth of securities.
Amazon recorded revenue of $88.9 billion in the second quarter. This indicator increased by 40% compared to the results of the second quarter of 2019. Then it was estimated at $63.4 billion.
