The International Olympic Committee mocked the Tibetan movement on Friday in front of its headquarters to protest against Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.

The protesters held a mock black coffin bearing the Olympic rings and the dates 1894, the year that the InternationalOC was founded, and 2021, and unfurled Tibetan flags and banners that said "Boycott Beijing 2022".

"IOC you're dead to us today because of what you have done repeatedly," said Chemi Lhamo, a Tibetan-Canadian activist who was arrested in October for disrupting Beijing 2022's torchlight ceremony in Olympia, Greece.

"Tibetans has been asking you to fix your actions and yet you haven't changed, so from now onwards we won't do anything with you - we call for international governments to boycott."

Although China treated Tibet, Uyghur Muslims and Hong Kong, the IOC has long been criticised for its award to Beijing the summer and winter Olympics, as the first city to host the summer and winter Olympics.

The IOC said it is a force for good and doesn't have any influence on sovereign states.
