Tehran wants the lift of sanctions in a verifiable process, says its foreign minister on Friday. It took three days before nuclear talks are resumed in Vienna.

The indirect talks between the United States and Iran, with the participation of major powers, aim to keep the two countries in full compliance with the 2015 deal. Washington rejected the deal in 2018 and reimposed harsh sanctions on Iran.

Having a telephone conversation with Joseph Borrell, minister of European Union's foreign policy, said in a telephone conversation with the international affairs chief.

Amirabdollahian said that Iran wants a good and logical agreement.

In one of the meetings at the TESA Karaj complex two months after Iran promised to grant it, former chief Rafael Grossi said on Wednesday that he didn't make progress on several disputes, most pressing of which was reaching the workshop at the Karaj complex two months after the conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, in which he was headed to Tehran in Tehran this week.

The workshop was commissioned for centrifuges, machines that enrich uranium, and by apparent sabotage in June that one of the four IAEA cameras was destroyed. Iran removed the cameras and the destroyed camera's footage is missing.

"We're near that point where I could not guarantee the continuity of knowledge", said Grossi.

Amirabdollahian told Borrell that Iran would attend Vienna talks by good faith - despite the US' violation of the 2015 agreement.
