The WHO Expert Group Has Completed Its Work In China
A group of experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) has completed its work in China. The results of this activity will serve as the basis for further research aimed at clarifying the origin of the coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19, who Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a briefing in Geneva on Monday.
"We continue to study the origin of the virus that causes COVID-19," he said. "The who advance team that visited China has completed its work to lay the foundation for further joint efforts to find out the origin of the virus."
According to the Director-General, the result of this mission was the development of a document by experts from who and China "on the research and program of activities of the international group under the leadership of WHO." This group will include experts from China and other countries.
