NASA Warned Of An Asteroid PQ1 Approaching Earth With A Diameter Of Up To 623.36 Feet
The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has warned of an asteroid approaching Earth with a diameter of 275.5 to 623.36 feet.
According to the Agency, the asteroid, which was named 2009 PQ1, will get as close to Earth as possible on August 5. It will fly past our planet at a distance of 3.2 million km at a speed of 13.4 km/s.
The asteroid was discovered on August 14, 2009. Astronomers refer to it as the Apollo asteroids, whose orbits intersect the Earth's orbit.
