After a 2-0 start, but after two starters, the womens basketball team suffered injuries ...

ANN ARBOR -- The Michigan womens basketball team raised a first-of-its-kind banner last weekend to the Crisler Center rafters then won to improve to 2-0. The Wolverines are ranked no 13 in the country.

The program isnt all good news, but to be a bit of an accident starter.

I have some special facts about Wolverines last week, but what to watch this week?

Several people in attendance said Crisler Center fell silent and used the word "gruesome" and "horrific" to describe the injury.

Dilk dislocated her right knee while she was senior when she had a knee injury previously. This year's injury was to her left knee, but apparently wasn't as bad as it originally seemed.

A program spokesperson told MLive on Monday that Dilk is a day-to-day injury. She is expected to return this season.

The game was delayed until overtime. The eu and IAP lost their battle 58-51 before IUPUI closed the fourth quarter with an 7-0 lead over the last 2:06.

Ten-for-20 man, the swanse came for seven-for-two. Naz Hillmon moved to the hulk after her last career in the All-American junior season, tallying 30 points and 15 rebounds in 42 minutes and led the Wolverines to 12 points and 20 assists. Senior wing Leigha Brown had 18. The Wolverines took on a major 3-point-shooting discrepancy: they were just 3-for-20 while IUPUI was 10-for-27

On Saturday afternoon in a pregame ceremony, Michigan raised the banner that commemorated last seasons Sweet 16 appearance, the deepest NCAA Tournament run in program history. In the meantime, after the game against St. Francis Brooklyn began, the Wolverines continued to gain an 82-46 victory.

That win also cost $45,000. Brown left just 2 minutes in and never returned. As a substitute for the second leading scorer of the 2013 season, Brown was dealing with injuries until then, and played only 10 minutes in the exhibition match. That said, only a public statement did not have a update of Browns status.

Hillmon again led the way with 19 points in 26 minutes, with only 3 on hand in the exhibition with her only miss coming from 3. This drought is just the beginning of a long time before the sack ends.

When an injury left, a trio that did not move to the floor, the whole of the field played at least 9 minutes by different teams - and was put into a bigger role.

While she was in the midst of the football season, laila Phelia is not one of the most beautiful men on the game. She has given an average 7.5 points, but is still a strong player who plays with strength in the 30 minutes she gets on the floor.

Both games have been for Michigan. Guards Maddie Nolan (10 points on Saturday) and Danielle Rauch (10 points) and forward Emily Kiser (12.5 points per game) have all started both games for Michigan.

The Wolverines host UMass Lowell on Tuesday afternoon. Tickets for the womens game start at $6; the game will be streamed on Big Ten Network Plus (the least expensive subscription option is $9.95).

The River Hawks are shooting only 38 percent out of the field. Both signs suggest a comfortable Michigan win.

The Wolverines will travel to Mount Pleasant for the second time to face Central Michigan (1 p.m. ET, not televised), the Chippewas played on Sunday, and won't play again until Michigan visits. They are 2-1 with a narrow win over Saginaw Valley State and Valparaiso, and a 34-point loss to Georgia Tech.
