Damon Harrison announced his retirement on Twitter.

Harrison joined the Jets from 2012-2015, a non-entrant free agent. Harrison moved to the Giants in 2016, under a five-year, $46.5 million contract.

Harrison wore out his welcome with the Giants on Oct. 25, 2018, in exchange for a pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

For the Giants, Harrison signed an accord extension of the year two years in full, and in the year five o'clock from the year eight. But even with the Giants, Harrison wore out his welcome with the Lions, who released him in February of 2020.

Harrison ended his nine-year NFL career last season with the Seattle Seahawks.

Harrison, a first-team All-Pro selection in 2016, played 124 games in an 111th start, with 494 tackles, 11 sacks, one fumble recovery and one interception.
