Woman dies after being struck on many vehicles in the '84 hit-and-run street, police say. A woman di ...

A Portland woman died after she was hit by multiple vehicles at an intersection 84 in Portland, Oregon. police say that she got out of her car on the Interstate 84 in the Northeast, and police said.

Investigators believe Carrie Lynn Simons, 37, drove Westbound near Northeast 122nd Avenue about 10:30 p.m. Friday. Police said that Simons got out of his car and was hit by at least two other cars and was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. Then she died later that night.

The driver who was not identified was not considered a fault, police said.

Police did not describe one of the vehicles as a hit-and-run. Crimes are treating the incident as a hit-and-run, and investigators have not seen or seen any of the other vehicles.
