The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation is committed to giving money to public schools with low-income communities in celebration of Young Sheldon's fifth season. The funds will help teachers and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), education.

TCLFF will turn up to $500,000 per year on the next three years and eligible STEM projects as of November 15th.

This is the sole family of Young Sheldon, we're proud to keep fighting for the Public School STEM teachers, and all of the young sheldons that are real life in the world, Lorre said in a statement.

Through our partnership with DonorsChoose, we're proud to continue our efforts supporting our public school STEM teachers. We hope these matching funds will help them to continue their great work motivating the next generation of STEM superstars.

In 2018, the foundation created The Young Sheldon STEM Initiative, which has raised nearly $1.6 million in funding for 55 public schools in Southern California and East Texas, and includes two-year grants for advanced knowledge and engineering, and a full-fledged program for students as well as college students, each based on the maths and science faculty program. This aims to earn free and reduced lunch, 50% of those students earn free and reduced lunches.
