Mazda's newest SUV looks like a direct competitor to the Subaru Crosstrek.
The new 2022 Mazda CX-50 is a focus on off-road performance, with a focus on engine performance.
The CX-50 is visually and physically taller than the CX-5, yet Mazda hasn't released detailed specs and dimensions, yet. The fabled rear door and low rooflines allow easy access to the roof racks, with its wide opening rear doors that imply higher ground clearance.
With a light-weight design from the CX-50, it's capable of providing more depth and diversity in the SUV. The CX-50, called the classic "seen-a-road" engine, will be offered with both naturally-aspirated and turbocharged versions of the Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter quad-liter engine with 6-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. A redesigned hybrid model has yet to be announced.

The interior riffs on Mazda's established design with materials and colors inspired by outdoor equipment.
The cabin, which the Mazda redesigned, is decorated with a new Terracotta interior design design design to suit the driving needs. The CX-50 also marks the launch of a panoramic moonroof option for Mazda.
In January 20, 2022 the new Mazda CX-50 will begin manufacturing next year at the new Mazda Toyota factory in Huntsville, Alabama, in January 2022, and arrive at dealers later in the year.
