Unlike most of the internet, the definition of the metaverse is complex, especially because it isn't yet available. Since the companies of Epic Games, Nvidia, Microsoft, and Facebook (in this case, Meta) haven't stopped talking about it, hence the changing lexicon, which explains the next iteration of the internet.

In doing that, the tethered-up concept and the geometry of your reality can look, in the same way as real-world objects. A metaverse resembles the physical world, i.e. often tethered to the physics and the design idology of a human's reimagine, but not to be identical to those of our reality.

A digital twin was first introduced in 1991 by David Gelernter, and was used by NASA in 2010 to experiment with space capsules in virtual environments. This term, which is known as a virtual twin, would be a virtual version of a real-life object or structure.
