The New Jersey Transit River Line light rail train struck and killed a man in Burlington County on Friday, officials said.
According to New Jersey Transit, the man was hit around 10 h 40 near the Woodlane Road crossing in Edgewater Park, where the train was delayed. There weren't any passengers in the train, but it was not in service.
His identity remained unknown Monday morning, due to family notifications.
New Jersey Transit police are investigating.
