Gantz, the chief of the Israeli defence for Israel, visit Morocco to visit Morocco ...

Israel's Defence Ministry said that Benny Gantz will visit Morocco on Nov. 24 and sign a security cooperation agreement, said the Israeli state's minister on Monday.

Morocco was one of the four Arab countries which, along with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, authorized to officially normalise the relations with Israel last year under United States-built agreements.

During August, the Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid travelled to Morocco with his first foreign trip since 2003.

Morocco was the home of one of the largest and most prosperous Jewish communities in North Africa and the Middle East for centuries until 1948's founding in 1948. Approximately a quarter of a million went to Morocco for Israel from 1948 to 1964.

Currently only about 3,000 Jews remain in Morocco, while hundreds of thousands of Israelis claim Moroccan ancestry.

The diplomatic agreement between the two countries was called the diplomatic agreement, which included the opening of liaison offices and the launching of flights between the two countries, as a restoration of high-level ties that Rabat cooled in 2000 in solidarity with the Palestinians.
