On Monday, the Japanese automaker said that AWV tested its performance at a solar energy construction site, using Black & Veatch to test how well it performed. Both companies said the company carried its own vehicle to pre-set destinations across the site.
The AWV carried up to 900 pounds of cargo and towed a hundred pounds of cargo. This project also saw the success of the battery-electric powertrain. A huge scale of tech enabled the new york economy to use modern-day technology, it proved an excellent test base for the battery powertrain.
Honda hopes that the AWV will be capable of handling heavy tasks off the pavement. However, the company has gotten more experience, and invited companies who want to test the AWV to contact me to see how this little guy can help.
The autonomous Work Vehicles of Honda are on the job.
