Michelle Obama Launched Podcasts And Discussed Life After The White House With Her Husband
Michelle Obama launched her own podcast on the Spotify platform. Her husband, Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, was the first to descend from his bedroom to his home studio in Los Angeles. The couple discussed life after the White House, talked about love and their relationship. "Sometimes these relationships become a source of real meaning and joy, and sometimes they can cause questions that we do not know the answers to. We will talk about our place in this world and how we feel about it and what we can do thanks to our strength," Michelle shares in an announcement on Instagram.
The podcast will air on July 29. The goal of the project is to inspire listeners to have an open and honest conversation with their loved ones. "Perhaps this podcast will inspire you to have a conversation with your loved ones that you have been putting off for so long," the podcast's announcement reads.
The presidential family has been preparing for the launch of the project for more than a year. Barack and Michelle Obama own the production company Higher Ground Productions. In 2019, she signed an agreement with Spotify to record podcasts. And in January 2020, the former first lady won a Grammy award for best-spoken word album for her memoir Becoming.
