Huawei Is Developing A Solution To Regulate Internet Speed For Family Members

Huawei is working together with Russian Telecom operators to create a product that will allow you to distribute Internet speed among family members, among other things, according to a press conference in TASS by Huawei Russia CNBG President Zhao Lei.

"We are working together with Russian operators to develop a solution that will allow us - let's dream and imagine that it will be at the beginning of next year-to establish the guaranteed quality of communication for any subscriber at any time via an app on a smartphone. Father, mother, daughter, son (who, for example, simultaneously use the home Internet for work, study, and games-approx. TASS) - you can specify a priority for any of them, so that a particular subscriber has a stable connection without delays, and for the rest of the traffic is distributed on a residual basis. Now you will not find such a service anywhere else, but I think this service will be available in Moscow next year," he said, without specifying details.

The company's press service added to TASS that, besides, "smart" routers are being developed specifically for gamers. They will recognize user traffic using artificial intelligence algorithms and set the optimal access mode for gamers currently playing online games. "We are currently working on this solution together with Rostelecom," the company explained.
