Volkswagen Recalls More Than 2.47 Thousand Crossovers Tiguan And Skoda Kodiaq, In Russia

The official representative of Skoda and Volkswagen in Russia, Volkswagen group Rus LLC, recalls 2,472 Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq crossovers. We are talking about cars produced between 2019 and 2020, Rosstandart said in a statement.

"The reason for the recall of vehicles: vehicles with diesel engines may have an inappropriate quality hose installed on the fuel line; this can lead to a leak in the fuel line and, as a result, to a fuel leak," the Ministry explained.

On vehicles subject to the recall program, the date and time of production of the fuel line hose will be checked. If the hose is not marked or the marking indicates a specific date and time of production, the hose will be replaced, Rosstandart said.
