The First Case Of Death Of A Patient With Coronavirus Recorded In Papua New Guinea
The first case of death of a patient infected with coronavirus was recorded in Papua New Guinea, according to the Papua New Guinea Post-Courier.
According to the newspaper, the coronavirus was found in a 48-year-old woman who died of stage four breast cancer.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 17 infected people have been identified in the country. Six cases have been confirmed in the past five days. On January 29, the authorities of Papua New Guinea banned visitors from Asia from entering their territory, closing sea and air harbors due to the spread of coronavirus.
