China Imposes Anti-Dumping Measures On US Propanol Imports
Chinese authorities have announced temporary anti-dumping measures against propanol imported from the United States. According to a statement released on Friday by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the measures will take effect from July 18.
"According to the preliminary investigation, the import of propanol produced in the United States to the Chinese market was carried out at low prices, resulting in significant damage to the industry in China. In this regard, it was decided to introduce temporary anti-dumping measures for this type of product," the Ministry said in a statement.
It is reported that the amount of duties will range from 254.4% to 267.4% and will be determined for each specific firm in accordance with the dumping margin of the manufacturer.
