Game 2 (10/27/21) | How to Watch, Start Time, and How To Start

The Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros meet again on Wendesday, with the Bravs trying to control the game in the early stages of the World Series.

Game one started off with a bang, literally. Jorge Soler became the first leadoff hitter in World Series history to hit a home run in the top of the initial in game one of The Fall Classic.

Atlanta was on its way to becoming a business from there. Ozzie Albies was added to the bases later in the inning, before Austin Riley added three more runs over the next two, including a two-run homer from Adam Duvall in third. The Astros kept things interesting by adding a couple of runs, but the Braves held on to win game one by 6-2.

Soler finished the night going 2-5 with two RBIs, with Albies also going 2-5-2, while taking a stolen base.

The Braves bullpen was definitely the star of the night. Charlie Morton had to leave the game in the third inning after a comebacker fractured his right fibula earlier on. AJ Minter, who pitched 2.2 innings, gave up a single run while striking out three, was the hero for the victory, throwing 2.1 innings.
