Wells Fargo Bank Ordered To Remove TikTok App From Service Devices
American Bank Wells Fargo asked its employees to remove the Chinese Tiktok app from their official mobile devices for security reasons, according to Bloomberg, citing an official representative of the Bank.
"We found that a small number of Wells Fargo employees installed the TikTok app on their office devices. We have instructed these employees to remove these apps from their devices due to concerns about TikTok's privacy and security protocols. Corporate devices should be used exclusively for official purposes, " the Agency quotes an email from a Bank representative.
Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, a Chinese social network that allows you to upload short videos, launched in mid-2018, has now become one of the most popular, second only to Facebook and Instagram.
On Monday, on Fox News Channel, US Secretary of state Michael Pompeo said that the US authorities do not rule out the possibility of blocking the work of TikTok and other social networks created in China on the territory of the country. Pompeo recalled that the US authorities had previously declared Chinese telecommunications companies Huawei and ZTE a threat to the country's national security.
