The Main Index Of The Hong Kong Stock Exchange Rose To The Highest Since The Beginning Of March
Trading on the Hong Kong stock exchange on Monday ended with the main Hang Seng index rising by 3.81%. According to the information posted on the site of this platform, this indicator rose to 26,339 points - the maximum value of the last four months.
During the current trading session, the Hang Seng gained 966 points, breaking the mark of 26,146 points reached on March 6.
Positive dynamics were also observed in other exchanges in China. The main Shanghai Composite index jumped 5.71%, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose 4.09%. Reflecting on the shares of the largest companies on both these platforms, the CSI300 index rose by 5.67%.
Experts associate the growth of quotations with the revival of the Chinese economy. China is gradually recovering its industry and trade after a downturn due to a new type of coronavirus pandemic.
