Neymar has been ruled out of PSG's Champions League clash with Leipzig due to a broken left knee
Neymar will miss Paris St Germain's Champions League group game against RB Leipzig after picking up an injury while on international duty, according to manager Mauricio Pochettino on Monday.
The 29-year-old was among a number of players who weren't involved in PSG's 2-1 Ligue 1 victory over Angers on Friday because of their involvement in World Cup qualifying games.
Pochettino said at a news conference that "the priority is always the welfare of the player." "Neymar has a minor injury which we hope he will resolve within ten days and reappear in the squad as soon as possible," Added the club's coach.
"Neymar Jr has had some groin pain since returning from international duty and will undergo more treatment over the next few days before returning to full training," PSG said in a statement.
Leandro Paredes and Sergio Ramos are also ruled out of Tuesday's game by injury, according to a statement.
PSG are currently top of Group A with four points from two games, while Leipzig are bottom and have yet to score.
