Delaware Electric Cooperative Introduces AI Solutions For Network Load Prediction
California-based technology company Sonasoft has announced the successful launch of the NuGene AI solution for predicting peak energy consumption using machine learning algorithms. According to a report published on Thursday by the Globe Newswire resource, this solution was implemented for the energy provider Delaware Electric Cooperative.
"The Sonasoft AI model offers a new approach to predicting peak demand in the network, which will allow the company to reduce costs and provide more affordable electricity prices for our customers. The model combines data on actual energy consumption and expected weather conditions; so we can model the load level in the network with high accuracy, " said bill Andrew, President, and CEO of Delaware Electric Cooperative.
The Sonasoft AI NuGene solution was developed with the need to obtain clear and reliable information about the state of the power grid. This task was solved by developing an interactive interface that includes several graphs and charts that allow you to see the current level of indicators, compare them with data for the previous period, and display an hourly forecast of network load for 14 days. Also, in each situation, the solution offers a set of recommendations for what corrective actions should be taken.
It is expected that the use of the new solution will allow you to more effectively manage demand in the network and gradually reduce annual operating costs.
