What's being said nationally after the Cincinnati Bengals' 34-11 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 6 ...

The Detroit Lions are the NFL's last remaining winless team after their 34-11 defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6 at Ford Field.

Detroits offense struggled hugely in this one, going into halftime feeling 10-0 down. Things didnt improve much from there, with Lions quarterback Jared Goff and the offense unable to stay on the field, while the defense struggled to maintain their impressive start.

Goff completed 28 of 42 passes for 202 yards and one interception, with most of his yardage coming in garbage time with the game well out of reach. He was 13 of 21 passing for 82 yards during the first three quarters, giving us an idea of how punchless Detroits offense was for the most part. It wasnt much better on the ground, with Jamaal Williams running only four times for 11 yards, while DAndre Swift adding 24 yards and a touchdown on 13 attempts.

After the game, Goff said, I think I can always do more. Youre never in a position where you feel like youve been put off. Of course, were nowhere near that, but I think Ive got some experiences to impart to these guys and I can do my best to be the best leader I may be and continue to try to find the open guy and get him the ball, take care of the football, and do me my job every day.

Joe Burrow and Cincys offense were able to get after the Lions in the second half despite the largely positive showing from the defense in all 30 minutes. Burrow finished 19 of 29 passing for 271 yards, with three touchdowns and one interception. He connected with Joe Mixon on a 40-yard touchdown pass on an important fourth-and-1. Burrow even found backup running back Chris Evans in some key spots, picking his spots against the Lions' linebackers. Ja'Marr Chase, the prized rookie receiver, caught four of six targets for 97 yards, leveling Lions safety Will Harris with a downfield block on Mixons touchdown catch.
