Earwig and the Witch, the latest film in the Eternal Life franchise, is about a strong young girl who grew up in an orphanage. She is forced to live with a selfish witch after he takes her in. Her life changes dramatically when spooky people take her into their home and she is rescued by reformed stewards.
The story of Earwig is based on a Diana Wynne Jones novel of the same name. The film is directed by Goro Miyazaki and commissioned by Hayao miyazoki.
