Mad Bavarian kicks off Week 8 with Saginaw-area football predictions
Hugh The Mad Bavarian Bernreuter is ready to play as the Cincinnati Bengals kicker.
It doesnt matter if he can no longer touch his toes or sat down to kick the bucket than a football. By his reasoning, anyone can score a winning field goal against the Lions.
Meanwhile, the Bavarian will continue to predict Saginaw-area high school football matches. The Madman was 9-1 in the Top 10 games in Week 7, and 17-4 overall.
Every NFL kicker is drooling for the chance to play the Lions after yet another disappointing defeat in the final seconds to a field goal. Rumor has it that the Bengals have pre-recorded their game-winning field goal celebration.
Tom Dempseys field goal against the Lions is still a memory for the Bavarian. Hes also old enough to recall Eddie Murray clunking a potential game-winning field goal in SF 1983 playoff loss.
The Bavarian is not giving up. In fact, he already knows the first thing if the Detroit Lions win the Super Bowl.
