The latest on the Alabama LB Drew Sanders injury, availability for Mississippi State, and the latest news on Alabama's RB Drew Davis
With Alabama gearing up for a pass-heavy attack from Mississippi State, it will once again be without one of its starting outside linebackers.
Drew Sanders will miss a second straight game with the hand injury that sidelined him against Texas A&M, according to Nick Saban on Wednesday.
Saban said, Hes out there in pads every day, but itll be difficult for him to hold his hand. Hes not going to play this week.
Sanders started three games after filling the role left when starter Christopher Allen suffered a season-ending injury in the opening game against Miami.
Dallas Turner made five tackles, including one for a loss, in his first game against Texas A&M. With Mississippi State completing 57 passes a game, Saban stated earlier this week that there will be more of oblivion in playing players on the defensive front to keep players fresh.
Sophomore Chris Braswell has also been called upon to assist fill the void left by Sanders and Allen at outside linebacker.
