Wayne Hills wins its 2nd consecutive Passaic County title, thanks to Bernardo

Jacqueline Bernardo took first place in all-around to help Wayne Hills to back-to-back team champions at the Passaic County Championships hosted by West Milford.

The Wayne Hills junior also took the top spots in the vault, bars, and beam competitions.

Fiona Gough of Wayne Valley finished second with a 34.825 in the all-around. Bernardo claimed 3.125 points. Wayne Valley finished third on the all-around podium, with Madeline Voinov scoring 32.375.

Bernardo led the vault competition with a score of 9.2. Katelyn Lynch of West Milford finished third with an 8.7 score, while Gough came in second with a 8.725.

Bernardo took first place with an 8.325 score, Gough took second with a 8.3, and Miyuki Dan of Wayne Hills took third with 7.625.

Bernardo took first place in the beam with a score of 8.85, Gough took second with an 8.5 and Wayne Hills Kelly Cappo claimed third with another score at 8.0.

Gough secured the top spot in the floor exercise with a score of 9.3, Bernardo took second with 9.05 and West Milford took third place with Ellie Vreelands score.

Wayne Hills accumulated 99.25 team points. West Milford finished second with a score of 94.3, while Wayne Valley finished third with an impressive 79.25.
