The girl, 9, was found wandering in Detroit wearing only a blanket on Tuesday, Oct. 12, according to WDIV Local 4.
The child had left her Farmington Hills home on Sunday, Oct. 10, and wandered for about two hours before a driver in 'a light-colored Jeep Renegade' came up and asked if she needed help. The girl then got in the Jeep and the male driver took her to a Detroit home where he allegedly bound and raped her. She eventually escaped.
On Tuesday, a woman noticed the girl was wearing only ponchos and asked if she needed assistance, the report said. The child requested to be taken home but the woman instead called police. The girl was then taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police later discovered she had been reported missing.
The incident is still under investigation. Police do not have a suspect in custody.
