Oregon 2nd, Oregon State is ranked 4th in the Pac-12 men's basketball preseason media poll, with Oregon tied for 4st

As the preseason media poll was released Wednesday morning, Oregon is selected to finish second and Oregon State tied for fourth in Pac-12 mens basketball.

UCLA, a Final Four team of 'a year ago, is the team to win the conference title, earning 32 out of 34 first-place votes.

The preseason poll and all-conference teams were announced prior to Wednesdays media day for men basketball at the conference office in San Francisco.

Oregon, coming off a Sweet 16 appearance last March, had two first-place votes, but finished well behind the Bruins for the top spot. The Ducks have won the past two regular-season titles.

Oregon State, which has made an Elite Eight run for the first time since 1982, tied Arizona for fourth in the poll. It is the Beavers highest preseason ranking since 1992-93.

Warith Alatishe of the Beavers and Will Richardson of Ducks were each named to the all-conference first team, with one player on each team in Aalisha. Jarod Lucas of OSU, DeVion Harmon and Quincy Guerrier of Oregon are the second-team selections.
