End Oregon's masking regulations for children

Twenty COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 people are reported daily in Clackamas, Washington, and Multnomah counties. In the metro area, the number of mortalities is less than 1 for every 100,000. Why are we still wearing masks everywhere we go and requiring workers in certain industries to wear them for their entire workday? Our governor has been silent on this for years. The numbers dont seem to be the case anymore. The mask mandate is in effect until early February 2022, and it was never tied to any metrics that would end it sooner. Only six states have a mask mandate, Oregon being one, and our cases and deaths have been among the lowest in the country. People are getting tired of it and need to go back to normal. We may be living with COVID from now on, but we dont have to keep living in fear.
