New website promotes the arts in Newburyport promoters new website for the Arts in the City of Newfoundland

A newly formed group promoting the arts in Newburyport recently launched a website to assist in its outreach to the community.

The Newburyport Arts Collective was established earlier this year to enable local arts and cultural organizations to collaborate in combating the COVID-19 epidemic's negative impacts.

Newburyportartscollective.org, which is set to be a web-based resource for New Brunswickers and visitors searching for theater, music, dance, visual arts, and related events, will help the city become regarded as if it were merely 'a go-to' destination for arts and culture, according to organizers.

Members organizations are currently working together to promote a dozen Halloween-related events in Newburyport, and the website provides spooky weekend information, as well as redesigned self-guided maps.

Collective members have also begun regular meetings with city leaders to discuss ways to increase support for the arts, and are exploring other ways their organizations might collaborate.
